• Hi All,

I have just had my website converted over to WordPress so that I can add information myself.

However, I’m stuck! I need to upload images the exact same size as the images already on the website:

However, I’m not sure how to do this? Is it something that I can do in WordPress, or do I have to make the image to exact same size before uploading? Either way, how would I do this?

    Thank ??

  • If these images are “featured images” i.e. post thumbnails. Then you can set the size by going to Settings > Media

    See:

Hope this helps – if not – ask again.

Thanks for this. Was a bit confused so tried something else.

In MS Paint I resized the image to the exact size of the images already on the website but then when I uploaded it, its still noticeably smaller than the other icon even thought they all say they are the same size.

    Any ideas?

Oh – MS Paint is rubbish! Try using IrfanView or Gimp. Both are free. The former is a good lightweight solution for simple image changes – such as cropping or resizing. The latter is a very full-featured graphics application on a par with Photoshop.
