Does this happen in a default theme with all plugins deactivated?

Yes. I’m new to this so do not know much about how to edit.

Can’t see that link, but I looked at your site more carefully and the style.css file shows that it IS that theme – which is 6 years old and no longer supported.

Try switching to a more current theme and see if you still have the same problems.

Thank you, I will try that, although it was set up for us b y someone else and I’m not sure how to do that.

Just tried, but am unable to change the photo on the first page and the logo. The pictures in the gallery are still not lining up properly or opening even with the new theme.

Looks like you have a bunch of extra and inconsistent settings/code in with those photos. Have you tried creating an actual gallery?

Are your photos all the same size? You may want to try regenerating thumbnails to be sure.

Thank you so much. It’s all fixed now. I would still like to know how to change the pictures on the first page banner, but appreciate your help.

Great! Is the first page banner part of the theme ? If so, see if there is a theme option or setting for that. If not, is it a plugin? Which one?

I don’t know if it’s a plugin, but I’ve checked everything and cannot find where these banner images (sliders) are located. They are really old photos which were put in there when the website was created and I’d really like to change them.

I just checked the theme options and doesn’t give me any clues.
