Picklist Default Value

    I have added a new field with standard picklist option. According to instructions “Value:” is supposed to be default input value on the form field. This does not appear to work. “Value:” information does not appear on web page form. Currently default is first item on Options List. I also want to make the field mandatory – user needs to make an active selection. Currently user does not need to make any selection – form automatically selects first option even when “required” in form creation is selected. This removes the compulsory nature of the form field requirement.

    Either add a blank item as the first option to force them to choose something (see the FAQ for examples) or choose a default value that is in the option list.

    The plugin can not submit a default value that is not in the available options.
