picasa images don’t display

For some strange reason, images that are hosted on Picasa are not showing in my blog. Sometimes they display the first time I view but if I just refresh they disappear (empty box with a red x, like a missing graphic). I’ve tried lots of things that have caused problems for me before, like changing the capitalization of the filenames, etc. Nothing seems to help.

The method I am using is:

1) view the image on picasa, and right-click the image to get the URL.
2) paste the URL into a browser window to make sure it is correct
3) paste the URL into my blog.

I’ve tried 3 different methods of getting it into my blog. I’ve tried the image tool and also just typing the HTML into the HTML window. All same results.

The strange thing is, the image displays in a browser just by pasting the URL. for example:

I can paste that into a browser window and it shows just fine. but when I put it into my blog, it disappears.

I”m not trying to put in a slideshow or album, just one photo at a time. Any ideas why this isn’t working?????

The only other thing I can think of is to download the photo and put it on another server?
