I’m baffled on this, and hoping that there’s something simple that I missed.

E-mails with attachments (images) are accessed by Postie, but not posted.

    Details:

I sent an e-mail to Postie, the same as I always have. It didn’t post. I tried again; no post. Thinking it might be a Great Firewall issue, I posted from a different e-mail account; no post. I thought it might be about the image size (I forgot to resize to something small); no post.

When I was able to get to my computer and test things, I sent a text-only e-mail. It posted. So I rewrote the original post from my computer (to rule out the phone connection as the problem); no post.

Through several of these attempts, I had Thunderbird open to confirm receipt of the e-mail to the Postie account. E-mails were received. And they were also, later, deleted–confirming that Postie accessed the account and executed the “delete” option.

The only change to my WP install has been the addition of the PolyLang plugin. However, the fact that a post with no picture went through with no problem suggests that PolyLang isn’t the issue.

    Any thoughts?

Please click the Run Postie Debug button when you have an email with an image waiting and send the resulting info to [email protected]

Looks like you don’t have a WP user with this email or you don’t have it listed as an authorized address.

    Hmm…

I originally tried using my GMail address (which I’ve been using for months), and it didn’t work. I tried the Zoho address only because I wanted to eliminate issues of Chinese blocking of Google.

I just tried again using my GMail address and it works. So… I don’t know what’s up.

Thank you, though. At the very least, it’s good to know that only e-mails associated with a user are allowed.
