Piano Black – Remove Widgets

    Hey,
    Probably a simple question but I was wondering how you turn off the ‘built in’ widgets (Recent Entry, Category, Archives, & Links)

    I’d also like to be able to use & reorganize them haha Hope this makes sense.

    Most themes display them by default if no widgets are selected. If you go to widgets and add a text widget, all the standard ones will disappear. Alternatively you can go into the sidebar.php and edit it.

    Ahh yes, that’s where the problem lays! I tried the text widget trick, but they remained. What do I edit in the sidebar.php?
