    I’m starting to create a online store, but I have a physical store that works since 40 years ago. I have a more modern system there, but I’m wondering if and how I can use the stock from my actual physical system to sell products with woocommerece without changing the physical system. Something like checking the physical stock and withdraw how many items were brought on the site. I still wanna make the physical system the main one.

    Hi @nicomarins,

    You have a number of options here.

    1. You can pivot all your sales to the online store by listing your physical inventory on the online store and using something like https://wcpos.com/ as your in-store POS system. This allows all orders whether in-store or online to be processed through the website without inconveniencing you or the customers.
    2. If you’re using Square to process your physical in-store transactions, you can use the Square for WooCommerce plugin to handle inventory synchronisation between WooCommerce & Square. Bear in mind that this will only synchronise inventory, it WILL NOT synchronise orders and order information

    There are probably more alternatives that you can consider, but these would be the first suggestions.

    Hi there,

    If you’re looking for a 3rd party inventory management system, you could also consider making use of https://woocommerce.com/products/woocommerce-tradegecko/ ??

    @luminus @riaanknoetze I already have all the system for inventory and all the stuff since the shop is very old. I can’t remake its system with a new one like WooCommerce POS or using other inventory, I need to integrate the woocommerce with the already created system of the shop. And it was made by a local service. The store uses a personal system to work. I don’t need a new system to selling, even cause it has its own singularities.

    @nicomarins,

    It sounds like what you need here is to sit down with a developer and iron out your requirements so they can help you build something custom.

    If you don’t have a go-to developer, we highly recommend contacting one of the services on our customizations page: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.
