• Hi.

I am trying to migrate my WordPress site from one server to another. At the same time, I am upgrading to WP 2.0.

The new host uses a version of PHPMyAdmin which does not seem to have the ability to upload the data I exported from my previous page. On the “SQL” tab there is no browse button, just a large text entry field and the ‘go’ button.

Anyone know anything about PHPMyAdmin 2.7.0 at godaddy.com?

  • Search for godaddy – there are a lot of posts…

On a sidenote: NEVER try to do migration and upgrade in the same time! First make it work as it was, then upgrade.

Thanks for the advice. I should have tried using godaddy as a search term first.

Also, I am actually switching from Web host to another, so I’m leaving my “live” site up and working on the dev site at godaddy. I’ll repoint the DNS only when I get it all up and running…

There is a helpful PDF document located here:
