PHP warnings

PHP message: PHP Warning: preg_match(): Unknown modifier ‘C’ in /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/includes/payment-methods/class-wc-stripe-payment-request.php on line 987

After a thorough investigation of the error, we came to the conclusion that the issue/PHP warning arises when someone tries to place an order on your site with Stripe payment request button (Apple/Google Pay) and uses a shipping address in China.

You can test it yourself on your site by following the steps I outlined in my bug report – https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/issues/1065

Can you replicate the same issue on your site? Do you receive the same PHP warning when you do that?
