    Getting these warnings in debug.log

    A fix could be similar to this:

    $extension = isset( $pathinfo['extension'] ) ? $pathinfo['extension'] : 'unknown';

    Note that pathinfo() does not always return this array key:

    Return values: .. an associative array containing the following elements is returned: dirname, basename, extension (if any), and filename.
