    Hi,

We have recently had a security issue on our WordPress installation. Everything is patched up and cleaned I think. And it’s working.

My question is, in my Apache error_log I get MANY request as this:

[Wed Jan 20 11:37:59.884158 2016] [:error] [pid 16399] [client 66.249.xx.xx:59721] PHP Warning: chmod(): Operation not permitted in /var/www/html/www.mydomain.tld/wp-includes/nav-menu.php on line 568

[Wed Jan 20 11:37:59.884335 2016] [:error] [pid 16399] [client 66.249.xx.xx:59721] PHP Warning: touch(): Utime failed: Operation not permitted in /var/www/html/www.mydomain.tld/wp-includes/nav-menu.php on line 572

The IP 66.249.xx.xx looks like it’s a Google IP.

    NetRange: 66.249.64.0 – 66.249.95.255
    CIDR: 66.249.64.0/19
    NetName: GOOGLE
    NetHandle: NET-66-249-64-0-1
    Parent: NET66 (NET-66-0-0-0-0)
    NetType: Direct Allocation
    OriginAS:
    Organization: Google Inc. (GOGL)
    RegDate: 2004-03-05
    Updated: 2012-02-24
    Ref: https://whois.arin.net/rest/net/NET-66-249-64-0-1

I’m really at a loss on what exactly is going on here.

So please, if anyone can give me a hint I would be happy.
