PHP warning causing endless spinner in checkout

Got an endless javascript spinner from this plugin activated on a dev site.

Did some debugging and found out its ?wc-ajax=update_order_review that returns a non valid json response since there is php notices.

Work around is to turn off wp_debug to supress notices, but might be worth checking in a real fix.
