PHP Warning and white empty screen when cleaning comments spam

    When I click the “Empty spam” button on a page in wp-admin area where all the spam comments are located – I’m receiving the “white screen of death” with this PHP Warning:

    Warning: Attempt to read property "comment_post_ID" on null in /home/customer/www/example.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sg-cachepress/core/Supercacher/Supercacher_Comments.php on line 34

    It happens every single time, so definitely not a 1-time issue.

    Could you please fix it?

    WP 6.4.3, Speed Optimizer 7.4.6, PHP 8.1.

    Hello @slaffik,

    I managed to replicate the problem. It does clean up the spam comments, but the Warnings are shown on my end as well. I would like to note that this does not occur when using PHP version 7.4.

    I reported it to the plugin developers so they can consider patching it in one of the future releases. You may follow the plugin’s changelog on the URL below for that matter:
