php, vista??

  • I loaded the php program but when I go to do the wordpress install, I get an error message, saying

    Error: PHP is not running
    WordPress requires that your web server is running PHP. Your server does not have PHP installed, or PHP is turned off.

  • I assume this is a local server? What server software are you using? (e.g. Apache/XAMPP, etc)
