    Good Day,

Why did SiteGround deactivate the PHP Version Manager (i.e., switcher)? It is a very useful, convenient tool.

    Please bring it back!

    Thank you.

I am afraid it’s not coming back to the plugin ?? Both cPanel and Site Tools provide an easy one-click way to switch PHP versions. There are some new upcoming changes that will provide even more options in that directions so keeping functionality in one place is crucial.

Quick question regarding php version management. The plugin put this line in the htaccess file:

    # START PHP VERSION CHANGE forced by SG Optimizer
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-recommended-php .php .php5 .php4 .php3
    # END PHP VERSION CHANGE

But it’s still there, however I’m assuming it needs to stay there for cPanel and Site Tools to manage the version?

We are keeping it so removing the functionality does not result in a version change. If you modify the PHP version it will perform a cleanup ??
