The plugin is giving me the following message:

There is a new version of T(-) Countdown available, but it doesn’t work with your version of PHP. View version 2.3.22 details or learn more about updating PHP.
This resource is provided by your web host, and is specific to your site. For more information, see the official WordPress documentation.

But myPHPAdmin with my webhost is showing: PHP version: 7.2.7

My current plugin version is: Version 2.3.20

So my PHP version should be fine and I should be able to update the plugin?

    Yes you should…
Please verify that WordPress is, in fact, using version 7.2.7.
There are a number of plugins that will help you verify the php version:

Thank you for the quick response. The display PHP admin plugin shows: Running PHP version: 5.6.40

I have passed this on to my web host to see why it is not using the 7.2 that cpanel shows.

I will update here once it is resolved.

excellent. once WordPress is using version 7.0 or newer you should be golden. We await your positive results.

Fixed. In the MultiPHP Manager via cPanel you choose the PHP version for each website in the hosting account.

Although now my (jquery)countdown plugin is no longer being supported and I need to install the new one.

    Thanks again fro quick response.
