    WooCommerce POS uses features that are only available in PHP 5.4+, there are no plans to provide backwards compatibility to old versions of PHP.

    PHP is no longer releasing security fixes for 5.4 or earlier, this means your version of PHP is potentially insecure. It is your web host’s responsibility to ensure you have a secure environment, if they will not keep PHP updated you should look for another host.
