PHP version 8.0 or higher not supported ?

  • Hi, I’m running Donovan version 1.9 on top of my WordPress site, running on PHP 7.3. It looks like PHP 7.3 is not going to be supported by the upcoming version of WordPress, so I just tried to migrate PHP 7.3 to 8.0 or higher.

    But when I swap PHP versions, my website crashes. I’ve checked all my plugins with PHO compatibility checker, and my only issues are with the Donovan Pro plugin, which I deactivated, and my Donovan theme.

    Is there a fix to solve that PHP compatibility issue ?
