PHP version 5.4 or higher don't work

    Hi duplicator-team,

    I used the duplicator plugin on many websites because it does exactly what it has to do.
    Unfortunately the plugin stopped working on all my websites at the same time. After duplicator is scanning the website, a blank page appears.
    I contacted the hosting company and they discovered that the problem disappears when I change the PHP version from 5.5 to 5.3

    Is this a common problem? Or am I the first one who reported this problem?

    For me, now I know that this is the case, I can change the PHP version temporary when I want to backup the website. But it would be nice if the plugin also works with PHP version higher than 5.3.

    But when it only happens in my case, than it’s just for your information, and I have to deal with it ??

    Hi Mark. Duplicator always worked fine here with PHP 5.5, and now seems to be working great with PHP 7. I think your problem is elsewhere.

    PHP 5.3 and 5.4 are unsupported and a security risk:

    It should be working in the those versions of PHP, I think David is right the issue may be related to something else. Did you host happen to look at the PHP logs for any clues when it was on 5.5?
