• Hi,

since a while I’m experiencing the issue, that PHP upstream is timing out.

2019/05/11 18:52:15 [error] 32755#32755: *1615183 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, server: mydomain.com, request: “GET /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=lsfs_live_commentary&nonce=0d4d93d06b&event_id=34678 HTTP/2.0”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/run/php/mydomain.sock”, host: “www.mydomain.com”, referrer: “https://www.mydomain.com/event/myevent/”

in that case just restarting PHP helps, then the live ticker is working again.

running on Debian 9.9, NGINX 1.10, PHP 7.2, WordPress 5.1.1, Sportspress PRO 2.6.14, Live Scores for SportsPress Pro 1.6.0

any hint on how to get rid of this issue?
I could also send you my phpinfo, if needed. (only via mail for security reasons)

    thx,
    stefan

    Hi @reisetroll,

I’ll have to test it myself. While investigating, it seems that’s a NGINX error so I’ll try to setup a NGINX server and run it.

    Best,
    Igor

    Hi @reisetroll,

I have not yet experienced such scenario but I’ll do some more tests on it to make sure I get to it.

    ok, thanks.

same problem we just had on saturday during our last game.
    restarting PHP fixed it…

could also send you my nginx and php config if you could provide an email-address…
