    Hi

I am currently using version 2.2.2 of the jetpack plugin. However I have been advised by my web host that my site is ‘spawning multiple php processes’ which is consuming all of the server’s cpu. Due to this they have suspended my site until this has been rectified.

Therefore could you please advise if version 2.2.2 was causing such an issue (possibly with the image gallery) and if so, if any of the newer versions of the plugin have fixed the problem. Please be aware that I am not a developer or programmer so I have not changed/hacked the code in your plugin, however my site also uses these plugins.

    events manager – 5.3.7
    business directory – 3.0.2
    wp-ui – 0.8.7
    magic action box – 2.9.5
    jet pack – 2.2.2
    yoast seo – 1.4.6
    wow slider – trunk
    contact form 7 – 3.3.1
    recaptcha – 0.0.12

Any advise or information that you can offer regarding the php spawning issue or possible conflicts with the other plugins would be most appreciated.

    Kindest regards
    Val

    Hi there,

I can’t say definitively what the issue is and what those processes were, but I suggest you update to the latest version of Jetpack, 2.4; each version of Jetpack includes new features and enhancements, as well as bug fixes. If you still have issues with your host after updating, please let me know. Also, please include a link to your site, or if you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form:

    Hi

Thanks for coming back to me. I have managed to resolve the problem, it turns out the site was hit by a brute for attack, so I have added more security to prevent/handle this in the future.

Didn’t put a link to the site as the web host had suspended the domain and moved the site to a scripting only server so it was only accessible viable ftp.

I have also updated Jetpack as well.

    Thanks again
    Val ??
