• I have an item on a menu that should (and did) run a simple php snippet.

    It should be a “custom link” with the URL=”[php snippet=1]”

    However, when I save the menu, WordPress changes the URL to “https://[php%20snippet=1]”

    This was working on my site for several years until I changed something and saved the menu. Is there anyway to stop this auto-correction?

    Thanks for any thoughts or ideas.

    Hi Staartmees, sorry for the slow reply. I believe I am using the standard WordPress menu admin.

    I create a custom link and enter “[php snippet=1]” into the URL.

    But I have created a PHP snippet ID=1:

    <?php echo wp_logout_url( home_url() ); ?>
