PHP shortcode does not work.

    I recently tried to place a slider within my template via the tag do_shortcode, unfortunately the carousel slider I created does not display on my site. I have recently read that in updated versions of wordpress this element (shortcode) has been removed. My wordpress version is 6.5.4, can you please help me with this problem.
