PHP redirection for languages

    I have a .com site for the English language but also a few other languages in sub folders such as /de and /fr

    I believe PHP can be used to send a user to the country specific version based on their browser language? Can someone guide me as I don’t understand PHP at all!

    Basically we have german, french and italian versions. If someone comes from another country it should redirect to the english one.

    Perhaps this can be done via htaccess instead?
