PHP Pages Showing Code

  • Last week a couple of my pages which include PHP stopped working – they showed the code instead of executing it. In the end I found that copying the page content to a new page and saving that solved the problem! All pages were then working.
    Today another couple of pages which include PHP are not working – showing code instead of executing it. I have now copied the content onto new pages and these work.

    Can anyone suggest why this is happening?

    Do you use any caching plugins?

    This may be a plugin or theme issue. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.
