    Hi.

I don’t really know anything about php or optimizing it, but my hosting provider keeps telling me that my site is using up a lot of resources (especially memory), even though I barely use it or access it.

So they told me I should ‘optimize my php scripts for better results

I have no clue what they mean or how to do it, and unfortunately, I don’t know anyone with WP knowledge.

I was wondering if your plugin does that, or if it’s possible you could adjust it for that?

Can you help me out, please?

    Thank you.

    Hey Katniss,

You can use my plugin to trim down your database.

Not sure what they mean with ‘optimize my php scripts for better results’…

    They should be more specific!

I installed your plugin to ‘trim’ the database. Not sure the effect it will have on ‘optimizing my scripts for better results’ though….

I know nothing of php, but their answer was even less helpful…. lol

By the way, I installed your plugin, ran the optimization and got the following result on one part:

    17. wp_so_tracking Table does not support optimize, doing recreate + analyze instead InnoDB 17 48 KB

    Is this normal?

    Hey Katniss,

The doing recreate + analyze InnoDB is normal.
For InnoDB tables it uses a different technique than for MyISAM tables.

    See the FAQ:

    Cheers,
