I’m on PHP 7.4 and just updated to Optimole 3.1.1 and I’m seeing this PHP Notice in debug.log.

PHP Notice: Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/optimole-wp/inc/traits/normalizer.php on line 147

Not sure if it was there before because I didn’t have debug enabled.

    Hi @jinsley8,

Thank you for reporting the issue, would you mind sending screenshots of how Optimole is configured in your instance so we can try to replicate the error?

    Hi @lucawal,

Could you tell me the version of the plugin that you’re using? Is it the latest?

Also, could you check if you disable Smart Cropping, do you still get the same error?
I checked the line mentioned in the error and it refers to the cropping of the image. Looking forward to your reply, thanks!

    Hi @bvytis
    We’re using Version 3.2.1
After disabling Smart Cropping, the error seemed to disappear (in Apache error log).
We didn’t see any issue on the front-end so it doesn’t seem to have a huge impact.
(Nota: error happens when using both php8.0-fpm and 7.4-fpm)
