    Hi!

My Tests were done with WP 3.7.1 + Gallery 4.0.5. No other plugin activated. Theme Twenty twelve.

I get these PHP notice once the plugin is de-activated (or fully uninstalled) when visiting the media library page on admin side.

PHP Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 1085

and line 1086 and 1089 too.
A quick debug shows that WordPress is looking for the post type ‘gallery’ which of course does not exist anymore. I did not look where this information is still stored. I guess it will be easier for the plugin author to find.

    Hi,

If you want, we can make a paid customization for you – we can remove all the attached content when the plugin is deleted. Unfortunately, it is impossiable to solve the problem any other way. Or you will just have to live with this notice.

    Sincerely,
    Support Team

I opened a bug report for this, as in my opinion, the solution should come from WordPress core. See #26451
