My VPS server has been spiking CPU and Memory – this started about 9/13/2024 – and I suspect around when I updated to Woocommerce 9.3.1 . I have been digging high and low looking for an issue – I suspect it is a bad plug-in or old database table but cannot pinpoint. Review logs this one comes when I am access my wp-admin for the site with woocommerce.

[Wed Sep 18 11:54:16.796875 2024] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 671377:tid 671377] [client 74.95.**.**:59554] AH01071: Got error ‘PHP message: Automattic\WooCommerce\Admin\Features\Navigation\Menu::add_plugin_item is deprecated since 9.3 with no alternative. Navigation classes will be removed in WooCommerce 9.4’, referer: https://*****.com/wp-admin/index.php

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

  • As an update for people searching the same issue.

I liaised with the developers of Woo Subscriptions and they have now released an update that addresses this issue. Hopefully it will roll out across the other plugins developed by WooCommerce

I am having the same issue in different websites:

[17-Oct-2024 20:51:57 UTC] Automattic\WooCommerce\Admin\Features\Navigation\Menu::add_plugin_item is deprecated since 9.3 with no alternative. Navigation classes will be removed in WooCommerce 9.4

    How did you solve it?

    Hi @thedigitalfactory,

    Thanks for understanding!?

I had the same issue and could solve it with deactivating the prime slider lite plugin. The prime slider pro did not made any difference.
Later I found out that the WooCircle widget (slider widget) was causing that message which made the home page where I had slider not editable. Elementor crashed each time.
Even I did not used the WooCircle widget, it was only activated to cause the issue.

    Hi @oskar321,

I’m sorry to hear about the issues you’ve been experiencing with the Prime Slider Lite plugin and the WooCircle widget. It sounds like you’ve done some great troubleshooting already.

Should you need further assistance with your store, I recommend opening a new thread, as this one has already been marked as solved.

Looking forward to assisting you further in your own thread.
