PHP Memory

  • Hi Everyone,

    I am having trouble with installing plugins and after reading through lots of posts I have come to the conclusion it has something to do with the PHP Memory.

    My host is 1and1.co.uk so I called them and they said the maximum I can have is 30Mb I can increase this if I up grade my package but that is another ￡12 a month.

    So the questions are:-

    1. Is there any other way around this without upgrading?
    2. What is the best host that offers a higher PHP memory?

    Thanks in advance, sorry if I have any terms wrong I am super new to the site building thing but already addicted, just getting frustrated that I cant ad all these cool plug ins to my site ??

  • 1. No. 30MB is really pushing it in terms of memory.

    2. Try searching the forums for “hosting”. There are plenty of previous topics on the subject and, since we’d rather not have any more, I’m closing this topic.
