php mail update

  • Hi all, a while ago I asked on the forum on my hosting company and am unclear on what to do next. Could someone please browse the linked thread and the related threads? I’m getting a lot of spam right now and would like to be notified by email so that I can check it right as it comes in instead of waiting until I log in.     go to settings > discussion and make sure the box is checked that says email me whenever someone posts a comment.

    make sure your email is correct under settings > general

    Having read the forum posts you linked to, I’m not sure why you’re unclear on what to do next. They basically say that it’s the host’s problem, the mail queue is congested and nothing can be done on your end. However, it’s possible that the congestion is only temporary.

    Try esmi’s link for some possible workarounds.

    I didn’t even catch the fact that he posted a link. Now that you mention it, I’ll check it out. I don’t think this is a temporary problem as I sent myself a test message and it never came. I did this just the other day.
