    The website is under development.
I used the new visual builder to create a new multistep donation form.
What I get on the frontend looks initially ok: the welcome page, then I click and I choose the amount I want to donate… then I click on “Continue” and here I get stuck and nothing happens.
I checked the error log file and everytime I click on “Continue” the following php warning is generated:
PHP Warning: Undefined array key “formId” in /wp-content/plugins/give/src/DonationForms/DataTransferObjects/ValidationRouteData.php on line 34

The problem doesn’t occur If I configure a new form by using the “old” procedure.
Your help will be much appreciated to make this form work! Thanks a lot.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi, @gioghersi,

You came to the right place, I’m happy to help you resolve that.

Based on your URL, it looks like you’re running an edge-case issue with our GiveWP plugin. What is happening is that installations on subfolders are not working. It needs to be on a subdomain OR on the main domain, but not subfolders.

I’ve escalated this to our development team so they can work on a fix. You can follow up on the progress of the fix here: https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/vfb-forms-generate-invalid-form-id-error.

We are actively tracking user issues to make sure our dev team is aware of them and can get them fixed. You can use the link to check in for updates or to provide additional details of your own.

Give the post above a look, and let me know if you would like me to add any additional details. I want to ensure your need is as accurately reflected as possible, and I’m happy to include an internal note to our teams with any specific information you would like them to have.

While we work on a fix, feel free to message us if you have further questions or require any additional assistance!

If possible, you can try moving the site to a subdomain installation or the root directory. If that’s not possible, you can use an option-based form instead as a workaround.

    Thank you for using GiveWP!

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi @gioghersi ,

It’s been a while since we’ve heard back, and I know troubleshooting needs a little extra time. I’m marking this as resolved for now, but if you still have questions, you can send them along right here, and I’ll be happy to hop back in.

    Have a great day!
