• Hello,
Please I need an urgent fix. After installing, I couldnt log into my wp_admin. Each time I get the following message: PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 022CA255 (or PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 1E92A3B2/0271A255 if i try to refresh). The URL is https://www.davidolaoye.org

I have tried all possible solutions, though I’m a bit new in this.

    mySQL version: 5.0
    PHP version: 2.9.2
    Operating system (OS): Windows XP
Browsers: Google chrome and Mozilla Firefox
    WordPress version 2.7.1

I’ll appreciate an urgent fix. Thank you.

it gets pretty funny, sometimes i get into the dashboard (after multiple trials and refreshes but i cant just edit and do a lot of things……. I keep getting this sentence; PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 022CA255 (i hate to see this)

please help, my hairs are falling off.

you didn’t mention the localhost before. That’s a windows error. can you put the site on a website somewhere as a development site? in a test folder?

Thanks Stvwlf but I don’t understand, do u mean the error is related to my windows version (i use Win XP OS2) and

    i don’t understand the Q

can you put the site on a website somewhere as a development site? in a test folder?

your problem is related to PHP running on your local computer under windows. I am not familiar enough with that particular setup/problem to help you resolve it. You could research that specific issue on Google, or post here to see if someone with more experience with PHP on Windows can help you.

My point was, I am making the assuming that at some point this site is going to reside on the web. The suggestion was, make that sooner rather than later – do your development on a web server, not your local PC. The problem you are having is not related to WordPress, it is an interaction between Windows and PHP. If you do the development on a webserver, the problem goes away because you will be using PHP on Linux. Then you don’t have to solve the problem because it won’t exist.

Its just a matter of style – if you want to, or must, develop on your PC then my suggestion is not a good one for you. The intent was just to get past the roadblock you are in.

    Thanks so much.

I will need to get a little more help on PHP – Window issue. I hope I’ll fix it soon.
