Several of my readers have been saying they can’t comment on my site cause they get an error. So I tested and the error message I get is:

    Error: answer is wrong. [2014]
Comment was blocked because it is spam.

Any clue why this is happening? Could it be because I switched my PHP handler from suPHP to DSO+mod_ruid2 and also installed eAccelerator yesterday?

    Thanks!

  • In my opinion it is because of New Year transition and hidden year-question.

For example your site (the server) is in 2015 year and your readers are still in 2014 year.
Browser is submitting the client year (2014) and server compares it with the server year (2015) and they do not match.

This issue should be already solved because now everybody in the world live in the same year.

Sorry about that. I will fix it before next New Year holiday.

That’s what I thought it was but I wasn’t sure since I had made changes to my php the day before. It’s all working now – thank you for your quick response ?? Glad it was just everyone in different years ??
