You need to name that file something like page-coupons.php, add this header:

/*
Template Name: Coupons
*/

Then select it as the page template:

thank you for the response, my theme does not support having php code in page, so I had to go for a new page. Is there any solution to have a php file ans still hold the wordpress url formating.

I used an plugin which will insert php code in page and used php code in a new page template.
