  • Hi 4boards,

Try increase the memory allocation to php and then check.

Thanks, I have been increasing PHP memory limit gradually and have now set it to 320m in wp-config.php

Whilst this might be a solution, surely it is not advisable to just keep increasing resource until the problem no longer exists. Advice on identifying the root cause would be appreciated.

    Note: php.ini – memory_limit = 232M

    Thanks

Previosly, tried to allocate 72 bytes, now 1024 bytes. Increasing the memory seems to have just allowed script to use whatever is available but still wants more!

    Hi 4boards,

You can try deactivate all of your plugin temporary and find out whether problem caused by one of your plugin or not.

    Thread Starter 4boards

    (@4boards)

That is a good idea, but the problem only occurs twice a day so it will take a long time to find out which plugin is causing the issue. Is there not a debug tool which will help identify what causes the memory error?

    Hi 4boards,

Ok. lets try it one by one.

    #* Set wp-memory-limit in wp-config.php 64. Add define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’64M’);

#* If you can edit PHP.ini file, then change the memory limit to 64M.

#*If you don’t have access with PHP.ini then try add it in .htaccess file “php_value memory_limit 64M”

Note: You can try with 64M first. Then try with increase the memory limit. Actually 64M is ok.

And if it’s still unsolved. You can contact your hosting service provider to help you out.

The session cleanup query is timing out. Clear them from System Status.

WC 2.5 refactors transient usage so when thats released you won’t have this problem.

I was also getting same errors.
I increased PHP memory as described above.
    after that
I just renamed plugins folder to plugins.bk
    Updated WordPress.
    renamed plugins
    Updated All plugins.
    Solved.
