Where are the generated thumbnails being stored? I’m trying to find the folder they’re store din to see if these broken images are even being generated in the first place.

Ok, I think I’ve found a pattern here:

It seems when I upload new images for a post and set one of them to featured, I don’t have a problem.

But when I don’t upload any images and instead search my media library for images to use that have already been uploaded a while ago, that’s when the fatal errors start to occur. I also noticed that when I do this, no “gallery tab” is created either, which after a precursory look in the forums here, seems to be normal behavior for WordPress. Galleries are only created when new images are uploaded.

I’ve also noticed that images can only be attached to ONE post, so if I’m taking an image from another post and re-using it for a new one via the media library, then the Special Recent Posts plugin can not make a thumbnail from it.

This must be the source of the bug!

Is there a workaround I can try (other than uploading new images all the time) for this, at least until 2.0 is released?
