• The latest release (2.0.5) of this plugin causes a fatal PHP error on all pages of the site (frontend and backend):
    Call to undefined method Woo_Variation_Swatches_Export_Import::instance

    Downgrading to 2.0.4 makes the fatal PHP error go away, so this error was introduced with the latest 2.0.5 release.

    Interestingly, after downgrading to 2.0.4 and then updating back to 2.0.5, the error is gone…

  • It should not happen.

    Try deactivating all your plugins except WooCommrece and Variation Swatches. Then re-activating them in various combinations until you isolate which one(s) caused the issue.

    @wpforce: I encountered this issue today on another site:
    Updating Variation Swatches for WooCommerce from 1.1.19 to 2.0.6 results in this fatal error. When then downgrading to 2.0.5 the fatal error goes away, upgrading to latest 2.0.6 again doesn’t cause that fatal error again. So 2.0.5 does some migrations that 2.0.6 requires for avoiding this fatal error.

    What is the current version of the swatches plugin? Are you a pro user? I notice some pro users having this error.

    If yes, for the pro or commercial product support, please contact us directly on our site.

    The commercial products are not supported in these forums.
    We can provide support for the free version only. If you are a free user, try to downgrade the version before 2.0 and let me know your theme name.

    Thank you

    It is the free version, v1.1.19, not Pro version.
