PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded

All over the web you can find fixes for this. But adding:

php_value max_execution_time 300 # higher value when need be

to .htaccess should do the trick. Sometimes you can or should add something similar to php.ini. And if you run nginx there are other solutions. For more options see https://imagewize.com/php-maximum-execution-time-and-out-of-memory-errors/

We are having this issue as well. It is in an nginx + varnish configuration.
