We use WP Mail SMTP that connects to SendInBlue to deliver website emails.

We also have the ‘WooCommerce – Sendinblue Add-on’.
However, after WP 5.5 update, and the latest versions of both plugins, we get Fatal Error during the Checkout:

[28-Aug-2020 13:56:44 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot declare class PHPMailer\PHPMailer\SMTP, because the name is already in use in /home/xxxxxx/xxxxxx/public_html/wp-includes/PHPMailer/SMTP.php on line 30

How this can be resolved? Are you going to release a compatible version?

    Hello @psychosis51,

    Thanks for reaching us here.

Would you please confirm that you use our latest plugin version and that there are no other activated plugins with activated SMTP feature in them?

    Best Regards,
    Sendinblue Team

    Hello

Thank you all for your messages and please accept our apologies for the delay in our reply.

Please ensure that you are not using more then one SMTP provider as this can result in the reported error. Please use only one SMTP service provider and disable any others.

After this change, if you are still facing this issue, then please raise a support ticket through your Sendinblue account or email us at [email protected] and provide us with admin access to your WordPress account (login url, username and password) so we can investigate further. Please also include a link to this conversation to ensure the history of the issue is understood.

    Best regards,
    Sendinblue Customer Care
