I set the automatic backup to run every day. But it turns out that my daily backup has an error starting February 17th.

I try everything including removing settings and removing plugin then reinstalling it but still not working.

This is the message I received when “Test the S3 Settings” in the Updraftplus setting page.

PHP Fatal error (Error) has occurred during test_storage_settings subaction. Error Message: Call to undefined function Aws\boolean_value() (Code: 0, line 14 in .../public/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/vendor/aws/aws-sdk-php/src/Endpoint/UseFipsEndpoint/Configuration.php)

Note: I’ve updated the plugin to the Feb 24th version, the issue still exists.

OK, It works after deactivating the BackWPup plugins. It seems that these two plugins can’t be used together anymore.

BackWPUp loads an incompatible version of the AWS toolkit from 3 years ago onto UpdraftPlus’s page. It shouldn’t be loading any code on our page, and should update its version to something more recent – doing either of those things would fix the problem.
