    Plugin caused fatal error after recent update; no access to site or dashboard, WSoD.
    De-activated all plugins via MySQL. Re-activated in WordPress Dashboard > Plugins.

    Error message:
    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/watoosa/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/charts-for-tablepress-chartist/tablepress_chartist.php on line 18

    Hi Gilligan,

    sorry to hear. It seems like your PHP version (which is from August 2014) is not compatible with the used syntax in this version. I would advice you to upgrade to PHP 5.4+ for the syntax to work.

    I’ll also revert this change in the next version for backward compatibility. In the meantime you can find the previous version of the plugin over here: https://github.com/silsha/tablepress_chartist/archive/0.8.zip

    Thank you silsha, this only caused a problem on that one site, which was on a test server.
