I just upgraded WP from 2.6.1 to 2.6.2. After uploading the new files, I hit the blog homepage, and got the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function main() on a non-object in /var/www/sites/mainsite/htdocs/articles/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1111

So I pulled up the /wp-admin/ page, which loaded fine with the “Upgrade your database” page. I upgraded the database, which went without a hitch, and was able to navigate the admin dashboard without incident. But when I tried to pull up the actual blog part of the site, I got the same error. I’ve reuploaded all of the files again, and I’m still having the same problem. I can’t find any such errors reported in the forums anywhere, so I’m a little puzzled here. Any ideas?

Well, it looks like the problem wasn’t with WordPress. One of the developers at my company had tried to integrate the blog into a broader site framework, and he got pulled off the project before he’d really finished. Some of the legacy code/Apache rules were causing the problem.
