Got this error in the logs. Also had a drastic drop in traffic yesterday, July 16th.

Hi?@ifixwordpress Thanks for getting in touch and sharing the PHP error you have encountered. To investigate this further for you, please could you share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form to share privately if preferred. Please also include your hosting provider here.
    2. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.
    3. Any further PHP logs you may have as well as screenshots or recordings of the fatal error.

Does temporarily downgrading your PHP version to 7.4 clear these errors? Is Site Kit still fully functional for you or is this affecting any of the plugin usability?

Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

I can see from your Site Health you have shared that you are on PHP 7.4. Were you previously on a different version of PHP or have you switched to 7.4 as asked above?

If you have changed to 7.4 from 8+ have you seen any difference or do you continue to see the error in your logs?

I did not downgrade, always been on 7.4. I saw the fatal error over this past week and upgraded to the latest version yesterday. I have not seen the Fatal Error since but just thought I’d give you a heads up anyways.

@ifixwordpress A fix for this is planned to roll out with the next version of Site Kit 1.106.0 releasing next week. I will update here once this is available.
