    I haven’t been able to do backups for a while because I continue to get this message. I can’t seem to find any solutions here on this topic.

    In case you don’t have access to your dashboard, you can download it using FTP client. All the backups and related stuff (e.g. log files) have been located in “/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/” directory.

    I am having this same problem but as far as I can tell my backups are working

    Thank you for the file.
    I can see that you have implemented the backup via 1.2.0 version.
    However, the latest updated version is 1.2.5.
    Could you please update the latest version and go with the backup again?
    Also, please try to do a hard refresh or use the Incognito mode of your browser.

    I am having the same php time out problems as above. I have the latest version of the plug-in. The backup when customized works for database but, no success when tried to backup files (together or separate). What should I do?

    After getting frustrated I deleted and then reinstalled the plugin. All my previous backups were still there I believe this has solved the problem.

    Thanks for the tip, @preponadime. Backups were completing successfully but Backup Guard continued to report a PHP execution timeout issue. I took the same steps (deactivate and delete plugin, then reinstall) and it also resolved my issue. Previous backups were still there.
