Hi there, I want to know how to revert the “Protect PHP execution” since I have 3 payment gateways. Amazon Pay, Square and PayPal and sometimes I got errors from Amazon not sure if this has something to do but I deactivated the plugin, resetted the settings, uninstalled it and looked for the .htaccess but I cant find it. There was one inside /wp-includes/ and I removed it but still not reverted. (keep showing up as if it was applied).

Could this be conflicting with my payment gateways? Specially with Amazon Pay?

    Thanks for checking.

I found it! Sorry about that, my FTP software was hiding it from me.

My question is still open, do you guys think it could create a conflict with payment gateways? You know, Amazon Pay asks for a Login, then redirects it and comes back, same as PayPal.

    Thanks

    Hi @eybel,

There shouldn’t be any issues with such kinds of payments, we have our own Forminator plugin that supports PayPal payments that work in a similar way with redirecting for payment and going back to site and that has no issues with Defender security tweaks.

Are the payments working for you after you reverted Defender tweaks?

It seems it wasnt Defender after all. We kept getting Amazons errors we just needed to know. Thank you for replying.

    Hello @eybel,

I’m glad to know it was not the Defender that made an issue on your end. I appreciate you letting us know about it. It means a lot to us.

    Thank you,
