I am working with a client whose site we are migrationg from a cpanel host to a dedicated WordPress host. The migration is complete, we’ve updated from Popup Pro to Hustle, and we’re getting this error.

How do I ensure that the plugin is now looking at the right server? This seems to be a value in the settings that’s looking for the old server, not the server its on now.

Error posted below. This error is showing in the new WP Engine dashboard.

Warning: session_start(): open(/var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php70/sess_ed3358be6089e451c859a75d3af4ec62, O_RDWR) failed: No such file or directory (2) in /nas/content/live/xxxxxxx/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-popup/lib/wpmu-lib/inc/class-thelib.php on line 145

    Hi @thewebprincess,

It’s possible that during the migration the files weren’t transferred properly so I would suggest to start by uploading fresh plugin files to make sure everything is in place.

If that doesn’t help, session_start might be having troubles writing to temp folder for sessions on your server, either due to wrong permissions or the folder being full, this is something you can ask your hosting provider to check for you.

    Cheers,
    Predrag
