Hey, have a small issue with a site now and this plug-in, the following is the php errors that are constantly thrown in the log files.. path of domain name changed for privacy but character length is not changed…

fnmatch(): Filename exceeds the maximum allowed length of 2048 characters in C:\Websites\clientwebsite.XYZ\wp-content\plugins\wp-cloudflare-page-cache\libs\cache_controller.class.php on line 967

In server section.. if you see PHP 5.6 consider upgrading to 7.4 (after taking complete backup).

how long to wait, and what was the problem? As and engineer of 40 years I prefer to know the cause of the problem or bug that you fixed, i hope its in a changelog file

The problem is simply the name of the cached file when you enable the fallback cache. On upcoming release I’ll use an hash as name so the file name have always the same length.

How long to wait? I think 1-2 weeks. In the meantime you can disable the fallback cache
