I have received this error message when trying to log in to my website and when trying to view the public page. I recently changed my settings to allow automatic updates.

“Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 7.2.0″. You are running 5.6.38.”

  • It means your site is using PHP 5.6, you would want to upgrade your PHP version to at least version 7.2 to get this solved.

I can’t even log in to try to upgrade

Even if you are able to log in, you cannot upgrade PHP version there. I notice that you’re using cPanel, you need to log in to cPanel and choose the PHP version you want to upgrade to there. Ask your webhosting support to do this for you, if you cannot do it yourself.

Hello, I have the same problem.
“Composer detected issues in your platform: Your Composer dependencies require a PHP version “>= 7.2.0″. You are running 5.6.40.”
    I can not login!
How do I get into the cPanel?

The cPanel is with you hosting company. I got them to update it for me, through their help desk because I didn’t know how to do it.

    Thank you johnrz!
I will ask my hosting company!
