PHP error (preg_match)

  • Seeing this in my error logs:

    PHP Warning: preg_match(): Unknown modifier '1' in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/blackhole-bad-bots/inc/blackhole-helpers.php on line 101

    Looking into this, I am not seeing any preg_match() or similar on line 101 of said file. Just wondering which version of the plugin you are using, and if in Multisite environment?

    It was whatever the latest version was eleven days ago, and it’s not multisite.

    I just checked the logs again, and the error stopped after 2020-08-13, so apparently an update fixed it.
